Wrong way
What it means
Do not go this way — you are heading against traffic. It is usually posted on exit ramps to stop drivers entering them in the wrong direction.
White with black or red; a red circle with a slash means prohibited, a green circle means permitted.

How to recognise it
A red horizontal rectangle with WRONG WAY in white letters.
Where you will see it
Usually on freeway exit ramps, facing anyone who tries to drive up the ramp the wrong way.
What to do when you see it
- 1.Do not go past it: you are heading against the flow of traffic.
- 2.If it faces you on a ramp, you have taken an exit ramp by mistake; get back out of the way of oncoming traffic as soon as you safely can.
