What it means
Green destination signs give the distance to the places ahead. Distances are in kilometres.
Green, blue and brown signs give directions, distances and services.

How to recognise it
A green rectangle with white lettering: the places ahead are listed on the left and the distance to each is on the right, in kilometres.
Where you will see it
Beside highways and main roads, listing the towns and cities ahead on the route.
What to do when you see it
- 1.Read it at a glance while keeping your eyes moving between the road and your mirrors; do not slow down just to read it.
- 2.Use the distances to plan fuel, rest stops and the time you still need to reach your destination.
