What it means
A narrow structure, often a bridge, is ahead. Slow down and be ready to share little room with oncoming traffic.

How to recognise it
A yellow diamond with two black edge lines that pinch in around a short stretch and then widen again.
Where you will see it
Before narrow bridges, culverts and underpasses, mostly on rural roads.
What to do when you see it
- 1.Slow down before the structure and be ready to share very little room with oncoming traffic.
- 2.Do not pass on or near it; in cold weather, remember bridges ice up before other road surfaces.
