How to recognise it
The middle light of the signal flashing yellow.
Where you will see it
At some intersections controlled by traffic lights, where drivers must slow down and take care rather than stop.
What to do when you see it
- 1.Slow down as you approach.
- 2.Proceed with caution, scanning for vehicles and pedestrians entering from the cross street. You do not have to stop if the way is clear.

The answer is "slow down and proceed with caution". Answers that say stop, or that treat it as the light about to turn red, are describing other lights.
