Survey crew — obey posted speed
What it means
A survey crew is working on or beside the road ahead. Slow to the posted speed and give them room.
Orange signs mark construction zones and other temporary conditions.

How to recognise it

Where you will see it
Where a survey crew is measuring on or next to the road.
What to do when you see it
- 1.Slow to the posted speed limit.
- 2.Watch for people and instruments on or beside the road, and give them room.
On the knowledge test
The guide gives the same instruction as for a working crew: the posted limit must be obeyed. A distractor may call the speed a suggestion.
