Hazard ahead — turn right or left
What it means
The road does not continue straight: a hazard or danger is directly ahead and you must turn right or left. Slow down well before it.
Yellow diamonds (and five-sided yellow-green school signs) warn of hazards ahead.

How to recognise it
A diamond covered in a yellow and black checkerboard, with a black double-headed arrow pointing left and right in the middle.
Where you will see it
Where the road ends at a T-intersection or at a hazard directly in your path.
What to do when you see it
- 1.Slow down well before the sign: the road does not continue straight ahead.
- 2.Turn right or left, as the road allows; do not drive straight on.
