What to do when you see it
- 1.Slow down before the gravel starts; loose gravel reduces traction and can cost you control.
- 2.Leave more room to stop: braking distance can be longer on gravel.
- 3.Drop back from other vehicles so the dust and stones they throw up do not hit your windshield.
