What it means
Right turns are not allowed here during the times shown on the tab below the sign. Outside those hours you may turn right.
White with black or red; a red circle with a slash means prohibited, a green circle means permitted.

How to recognise it
A white square with a red circle and slash over a black right-turn arrow, with a tab below giving the times the ban applies.
Where you will see it
At intersections on busy commuter routes, where right turns would block traffic or endanger pedestrians at peak times.
What to do when you see it
- 1.Read the tab. During those times, do not turn right here, whatever colour the light is.
- 2.Outside the posted times, you may turn right as usual when it is safe.
On the knowledge test
The tab is the key: the ban is limited to the posted times. The test may pair it with the no-right-turn-on-red sign to see if you can tell them apart.
