You must turn right or left at this intersection; you may not go straight through.

How to recognise it
A white square with a green circle around a black arrow that splits, one branch curving left and one curving right.
Where you will see it
Directly above T-intersections and other intersections where the road does not continue straight.
What to do when you see it
- 1.Turn right or left; you may not go straight through.
- 2.Get into the correct lane for your turn before the intersection and signal early.
