A white square with a green circle around a black arrow pointing straight up.

Directly above intersections where turning would be unsafe or would block traffic.
What to do when you see it
- 1.Go straight through the intersection; no left or right turns are allowed.
- 2.If you need to turn, plan another route before you reach this intersection.
On the knowledge test
Because it hangs over the intersection, the ban applies to every lane facing it. Watch for answers that limit it to the curb lane.
