A fire hall entrance is ahead. Be ready for a fire truck pulling out with its lights flashing.

How to recognise it
A yellow diamond with a black fire truck with a red light flashing on top.
Where you will see it
On the street outside a fire hall.
What to do when you see it
- 1.Watch the fire hall driveway and be ready to stop for a fire truck pulling out.
- 2.If one comes out with lights and siren, it has the right-of-way: pull to the right and stop, but not in an intersection.
- 3.Once it has passed, keep watching and listening: other emergency vehicles may follow.
On the knowledge test
The sign itself is a warning; the tested rule is that emergency vehicles with flashing lights and sirens always have the right-of-way.
