Keep right of divider
What it means
Keep to the right of the divider or traffic island ahead.
White with black or red; a red circle with a slash means prohibited, a green circle means permitted.

How to recognise it
A white upright rectangle showing a black island or divider with an arrow curving around its right side.
Where you will see it
On the nose of medians, traffic islands and dividers, especially where a divided road begins.
What to do when you see it
- 1.Pass to the right of the divider or traffic island.
- 2.Do not drive on or over a painted island either: keep to its right.
On the knowledge test
Read the picture: the arrow goes around the right side of the obstacle. Do not mix it up with the sign telling slower traffic to use the right lane.
