What it means
Traffic travels in both directions on this road. Keep to the right unless you are passing.

How to recognise it
A white upright rectangle with black arrows pointing in opposite directions, one up and one down.
Where you will see it
Where a one-way road or a divided highway becomes a road with traffic in both directions.
What to do when you see it
- 1.Expect oncoming traffic in the lane to your left.
- 2.Keep right unless you are passing, and pass only where it is safe and the markings allow.
